Kara Wallace, M.D.
Dr. Wallace earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Missouri--Kansas City in 1995. The following year, she completed the six year BA/MD program at the UM-Kansas City School of Medicine. In 1999, Dr. Wallace finished a three year residency program in Family Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina.
While at the Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Wallace completed her residency program focusing her dissertation on the diagnosis of ADHD. She gave her time as a volunteer for several non-profit health clinics, and has served for nearly 20 years as a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) and American Medical Association (AMA).
After completing her residency in South Carolina, Dr. Wallace served several medical assignments, primarily in the Show-Me State, Missouri, where she is originally from.
In 2000, Dr. Wallace joined the American Family Care Clinic to begin establishing a practice in Huntsville. 2001 saw Dr. Wallace starting her own practice, Kara Wallace, M.D., P.C. In May of 2008, she relocated her practice to the current facility in Huntsville's medical district.
